Cory R. Winter is a Food and Hospitality business maven turned author. Prior to penning his debut novel, Culinary Soldier, he cruised through a more than thirty years-long, successful and immensely fulfilling career in the hospitality industry sprawled over several fascinating lands worldwide. Progressively, he ascended the ranks to become the Vice President, Food and Beverage, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau at Accor Hotels, a global hotel giant, thus carving a prominent name for himself in the industry. At Accor Hotels, Shanghai, the People’s Republic of China, while simultaneously serving as its Regional Vice President of Operations, Cory managed hundreds of luxury hotels, restaurants, bars, and food and beverage businesses of the vast territory. For nearly a decade, Cory was also employed as the Food and Beverage Director with Four Seasons Hotel & Resorts at some of the world’s most prestigious luxury hotel properties; Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Chinzan-so, Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi and Four Seasons Resort at Landaa Giraavaru. Asia has been Cory’s home for the past two decades; he has resided in several exotic Asian destinations, including Shanghai, Macau, Tokyo, Yokohama and a remote private island in the Maldives. His nomadic years finally culminated in his stay in the Kingdom of Thailand, where, today, he explores the country while writing novels. Culinary Soldier, and Culinary Renegade, which will be released shortly, are a part of his Richard King Series.
