Culinary Soldier

The story of Culinary Soldier, a riveting fiction-thriller, revolves around a premium American restaurant named, Belvedere, whose owner, Richard King, is fighting the worst battle of his life. The COVID-19 pandemic has posed a threat to the survival of Belvedere, which Richard has built with his sweat and blood. The story while showcasing real-life events during a pandemic, narrates how Belvedere, after facing an onslaught of pandemic-induced challenges survives and thrives. 

Like other restaurants severely hit by the early stage of the pandemic, the fledgling Belvedere is caught in a befuddling vortex of uncertainties unleashed by the bizarre drama at the White House and the State, bungled rollout of the Cares Act, and the violence-prone historic Black Lives Matter Movement. The events in the story ride on a roller-coaster of emotions as Richard and his colleagues frequently swing between brightened hopes and deep dark despair.
